Deren L. Worrell joined the firm in 2007. A graduate of Baylor University School of Law and the University of Kentucky (summa cum laude), her practice focuses primarily on tax, estate planning, probate, charitable entity and charitable giving law. She represents numerous professionals, charitable entities, families, and family and closely held businesses within her and the firm's areas of expertise, including wealth migration planning, transfer tax planning, asset protection planning, estate planning, taxation of trusts and estates, employee benefit planning, personal and business planning for family businesses, business succession planning, probate and estate administration, fiduciary representation, charitable gift planning, and formation, governance and taxation of exempt organizations.
