Alicia D. Meinzer regularly guides her clients through the complexities of estate planning, business planning and the probate process by offering a creative and personal approach to the practice of law. Alicia is Board Certified in Estate Planning and Probate Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization and practices primarily in the areas of wealth transfer planning, sophisticated business and estate tax planning, asset protection planning, charitable gift planning, marital property planning, and estate and trust administration of all types and complexity. Alicia also provides assistance with contested estate and trust proceedings and fiduciary litigation matters and has experience advising and representing clients through the guardianship process.

Alicia enjoys working directly with a wide variety of clients, ranging from individuals, multi-generational families, closely-held businesses, fiduciaries and large financial institutions. Her main goal is to establish long-term working relationships with her clients and their professional advisors. Through her practical approach in navigating family dynamics, she assists her clients in creating and implementing tailored plans to accomplish their key objectives and minimize estate, gift and income tax exposure, all while preserving family harmony, ensuring the family legacy continues for future generations.

Alicia, a fifth-generation West Texas rancher, offers a unique perspective to those of her clients in the agricultural industry. She credits her upbringing in production agriculture, coupled with her real estate and oil and gas title experience, to her heightened comprehension of sophisticated wealth preservation techniques, estate and trust administration, tax, and business succession issues for her clients. In addition, Alicia is an experienced equine law attorney and regularly assists her clients in the acquisition and management of high-net-worth horses for showing, racing and breeding purposes.
